16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that commences on 25th November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10th December, Human Rights Day.

Friday 25th November – Launch Den of Iniquity: Behind Closed Doors – Poetry on Film 3pm, Clare Haven Admin and Education Building, Limerick Road RSVP: clientcare@clarehaven.ie by 23rd November 2022 – Limited seating available

Tuesday 29th November – in collaboration with Clare County Library Service – Information Stand in Shannon Library – meet and greet staff, receive information.
Wednesday 30th November – we are guests of NorthWest Clare Family Resource Centre Purple Up Coffee Morning
Friday 2nd December –  in collaboration with Clare County Library Service – Information Stand in Ennistymon Library – meet and greet staff, receive information.

Monday 5th December –  in collaboration with Clare County Library Service – Information Stand in Ennis  Library

Tuesday 6th DecemberCandlelight Walk of Remembrance – congregating at Ennis Garda Station 6.15 to depart at 6.30 for the Ennis Court house in  partnership with An Garda Siochána and the Court Services
Friday 9th December – in partnership with Barnardos Empower Kidz Launch 11.30am  –  Clare Haven Admin and Education Building, Limerick Road RSVP essential, call Deirdre on 0656842646, limited access
Saturday 10th December – Music in the Mall by Clare FM – in aid of Clare Haven Services, 2pm – 5pm at Dunnes Stores , Ennis
Throughout the 16 Days –  In collaboration with Clare County Library Service – Information Stand in Scarriff Library –  information stand – Carol Singing Tuesday 20th of December where our staff will be available.
