What information do we collect about you?

CLARE HAVEN SERVICES collect personal data relating to employees/service users/ volunteers/external contractors/suppliers/business contacts/subscribers/trainees/ donors/participants which can include: name, home address, home telephone number, private email address, job title, date of birth, passport data, home address, home telephone number, private email address, PPS number, bank details, emergency contact, staff number etc.

CLARE HAVEN SERVICES also collect special category data relating to employees/service users which can include: racial and ethnic origin, religion, health records etc.

How will your information be used?

CLARE HAVEN SERVICES processes the personal data you give us for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with a Domestic Violence Service;

  • To provide you with refuge accommodation;

  • To provide you with an accompaniment or advocacy service;

  • To carry out research and statistical analysis;

  • To respond to your queries and/or information requests;

  • To process your job or volunteer application;

  • To process your payroll and Garda vetting forms;

  • To respond to your Subject Access Request(s);

  • To respond to your feedback or complaint;

  • To process your donation;

  • To register your interest in and communicate with you about our services, training, fundraising, advocacy and volunteering opportunities.

What is our legal basis for processing your personal data?

CLARE HAVEN SERVICES will process your personal data based on the following grounds:

Your Consent;

Where it is CLARE HAVEN SERVICES’ legitimate interest to:

  • Provide you with information about campaigns & fundraising activities that you have agreed to take part in;

  • Provide you with information about events/training/workshops you have signed up for;

  • Recruit employees and volunteers and assess and process their applications;

  • Manage our relationships with donors and other supporters;

  • Follow up with you on your queries;

  • For CLARE HAVEN SERVICES’ compliance with a legal obligation;

CLARE HAVEN SERVICES will not sell, trade or swap your details with third parties.

We will share your information with third parties in the process of managing your engagement with us such as payment processors for donations, partners who manage our events/training/workshops you have signed up for.

CLARE HAVEN SERVICES holds your personal data on a secure computer/hardcopy file etc located in our office and/or a secure cloud based servicer and/or on a secure server hosted by Clare Haven Services.  We take all reasonable security, technical and organisational measures to ensure that the personal data we hold on you is protected from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction and to prevent any unauthorized or unlawful disclosure or processing.
